If I have a cable what do I need to do? Also on a Samsung if it is locked to a network, does it show restricted service instaed of sim card restriction if you put another sim in it?

    cheers

i specialize in samsung and have honestley never heard of master codes generated via imei.
i presume you are refering to the method used for dct4 nokias ?
so far there are only a few methods
    1 cable and software
    2 samsung service box
    3 samsung clip

    T100 Question

I bought this phone from amazon, yet when I put my Orange sim inot to it, it says limited service, does this mean it is locked to a different network or does it mean it is blacklisted?

    @Mudrat26

if the phone was black listed the sim would still go in as normal. the signal bar etc would also be as normal the only difference would be when you tried to make a call. you would only hear 3 short beeps thats it also same for any one making incomming calls.

your phone needs to be unlocked thats all.

    @ shaaker

come on then show me this software if it exists.
you don't have to give ne it screen shots will do.
and web site of where to get it.

I tried out the Samsung_unlocker for Shaaker, but it didn't work.
It (repair system failiure and unlock) was carried out correctly through the Com-port, but I still got the same failure.

I am using a Samsung cable and connector. Do I need to use I 9 volts battery also (which can be attached to the cable)?

    Thanks

the cable which came with the phone should suffice. there is no power supply needed with this cable. are you sure you have the rite one.?

I used a Samsung cable for data and Unlock. I was insured that it works with the T100. It didn't came with the phone but it should be working for the T100, because the program connects to the phone and says all steps are fullfilled correctly. That's the main reason I don't understand why it'doesn't unlock repair my "system failure" error.

@sting look @previous posts how to repair system failure on t100-
@evryone else thers alot of unlock codes goin round does anyone know of 1 for the T100? as I read somwher that unlocking some versions of t100 with cable &soft- results in poor battery performance i.e the unlocking results in high battery drain!
