Cloned backup SIM :)

Hi all,

Just curious if i make a clone of my sim card and use my original and have it so it asks for pin number at phone bootup if i get it stolen and they cant access my sim can i simply use my backup sim instead?? or will it be detected?

I don't know really, but i think you can use the backup in case other sim is stolen. If a person tries to enter incorrect PIN three times, sim will ask for PUK1, but the phone won't alert the operator. I think the same thing will happen when sim becomes "blocked because of 10-time-incorrect PUK". Because the operator doesn't know what is happened, it won't block your sim; therefore, you can use your backup.
