    Unknown Flash Type

Can anyone help me with this problem of an ''Unknown Flash Type'' on a 3310? I have tried to flash using a known flash, but keep getting the following....''Unknown Flash Type''
''ID: FFFFFFFF''. I am using rolis 4.78 as knok doesnt do anything!

The phone does not turn on so no checks can be made, only rolis works at present! I hope someone can help.

Download another flash then extract it to the desktop. Then retry

I have done all that several times, but still nothing will load. The only thing that ever happens is..''Unknown Flash''

Clean the contacts on the cable and the phone! They may be dirty or some of the 3310's have glue over the contacts!
A friend will bail you out of jail! A true friend will be in the cell with you saying " Shit, we really fucked up this time!!!"

OK Chunkhead have done all you have mentioned beforehand, but still I'm having this problem! I'm sure this is a software problem, but cant pin point the exact solution? The only program that will touch the phone is rolis, everything else just doesn't see the phone.

Someone must have come across this problem before, could it be a dodgy flash module? I have tried several flash files, but they all do the same!

Problem is hardware reheat/work the flash IC and all should be OK.
