Ringtone problem on 8210

hi,

i edit my flash by adding ringtones to it using PPM edit 1.0a then save it and reflash it to my fone. When i play all the tones with ppm edit they all sound fine.

when i play them on the fone, some of them say the name of a tone but play a completely different tone.

Why does it do that? how can i fix it? what am i doing wrong?

checksums seem to be fine.

Yeah, I had a similar problem but my tones just played in a changing tempo all the way through!!

Just make sure you fix all the checksums with something like PPM manager and reflash it!
If it doesn't work, flash it again!

I reflashed mine and it was fine!
Dunno what the problem was!

would you happen to know what the is the maximum amount of tones you can put into a flash without overwriting the 5 recieved tones on an 8210?

i think this might be the problem...

but ill give what you said a go and see how it goes.
