    Question SMS issue, too... 8310, 6510, 8910

    Hello
I also got a question regarding "retrieving SMS" but a different way. Given the situation i been in a while ago, then not knowing of this forum.
I had a 6510, my BF a 8310, later a 8910 and the same problem. The phone kind of "moves" SMS's autmatically from the SIM card into it's own memory. Now, when changing the phone, is there ANY way to save those SMS's back from the phone's folders (archive, or even own created folders) onto the SIM card in order to transfer them to the other phone? When forwarding those SMS's obviously all details of the original sender will be lost.... In the case of me and my BF, we both lost important SMS's from years ago when we have been in different countries... Now it is history because the phone's are long gone, but both our new phones also move the SMS's into phone folders.
Anybody knowing of a solution? BTW a try to backup my 6510 with kxplorer failed as it backed up EVERYTHING except the SMS what it should have backed up............... which i found out a few days after i sold the phone!
    Thank you for your attention....

    Nokia PC can backup SMS

Also you sim has a limited of SMS in my case 10 but my inbox support can hold many more. So when I change the sim card over if the number of messages are less than 10 it moves with the sim if not 10 go with the sim the rest stay.

    PC Suite?

    Thank you very much!
Hmm i have PC Suite, i think 5.01 (for the 6610).... i did not yet explore it further as i yet can't hook the phone with the PC anyway... does it really back up those SMS to a file, or is it just like the content copier, which only supports the same phone type, i.e. i can copy from 6610 to another 6610 or save as a file and later import in a new version of PC suite to copy into another (newer) phone?
Thank you very much for your help....
    your Thanh
