amr as ringtone sound problem

hi all,

I want to use an amr file as ringtone, though In the ringtone selection menu sound of amr file is good, it is low when it rings

does anybody know the solution?

Check your profiles, maybe you have ascending volume selected..

but it's already at the max level

I didn't mean the volume, but the Incoming call alert, you can select Ringing, Ascending, Ring once, Beep once and Silent.
If you set it to Ascending, it starts off @ low volume, regardless of volume setting.

dats true .... i face da same problem, da amr files sound loud n clear when v listen but they're sound very slow when da fone rings !!!

amr's are low in sound level due to the sound frequency being low, in my eyes, amr's are SHITE, stick with wav's
