Smile Nokia makes durable phones (3650)

2 weeks ago I was out driving my mc at speeds around 200km/h (125miles/h) but when i stopped for gas i noticed that the pocket had opened and the phone was gone. I swore a bit and thought I would never see that phone again but last week i got a message from the police that someone had hand it in, so I went and picked it up and the phone still works, sure it was gravel in it and it had some scratches but everything on it works.
Not that i suggest you try the same thing but i was amazed that it still worked.

    Nokias are strong....

My mate accidentally drove over his phone with a bloody big tractor followed by a bloody big muck spreader and it still worked, although the cosmetic damage was a bit severe...

I'd like to see an ericsson do that... lol

    Good old nokia....

I have a friend who rode one of those log rides in an amusement park and his phone fell in the water. He blowdried it when he got home and everything works except for the camera I think the lens are busted. But he can still make phone calls and send/receive text messages...

i think that some models of nokia are not that though. many already have hardware/software problems (like my 8310) even though its new and havent felt the force of gravity.

Ye im deciding to get rid of my nokia 7650 and my nokia 8310 and go for another make. Over the past year i have had to send my 8310 in 4 times due to software failure and my 7650 3 times angain due to sofware. In total my fones have been away from me for at least 6 months, AT LEAST.

Sorry 2 say, Nokia are losin it a bit.

It depends on the model and unit... some nokia phone designs are durable but there are some models that keep on breaking down... had a 6150 that was really durable.. even spilled hot cooking oil on it.. nothing happend bad to the phone except for cosmetic damages... but I can say that Nokia is a good brand of celphone
