    Flasher / Mbus Cables

Hi all, Total newbie to this site, hope it will be a well of information for me.

I currently have the Nokia Flasher Kit (Parallel) with the individual ends for the different phones and i am looking for the pinouts for the cable (Serial) to allow me to use the same ends to do more than the flasher cables enables me to do.

I know they are available to buy but i would rather make my own, Hope someone can help.

    Thanks

    Nelix.

Thanks for that, unfortunately i am only a novice at electronics, would it be possile for you to label the picture with the pin numbers for the PS2 connector. Is the 78lo5 a chip and are they readily available.

I need to study harder on the electronics as this picture would be much more helpful if it was in laymans term

I would apprieciate it if you could simplyfy it for me

    Thanks again

Search Maplins, you should be able to find the chip on there!!

    Test your leads!
Plug a PS2 socket in there test each pin for continuity with the m/bus pin then the f/bus pin and so on!
Write down each pin as you find it!
You will eventually have a full list of all the pins!

If you haven't got a multimeter just use an led which has a 330 ohm resistor attatched on a 9v/6v battery
