    System menu

Is there a way to go into system menu, some key combination
(For e.g., in Sony ericsson t68i you type <<**< you get system menu) in Nokia 3650? I am particularly interested in is place where i can find if the phone is locked.

It may not even be called "system menu" in nokia. It is some sort of menu where i can find all the hidden details like phone locked status, Software version etc.Yes i know by pressing *#0000# will get me software version..but there is no way to know if the phone is locked or not? (Unless i have another SIM card) That is what i was referring to

To test if a phone is locked do this:

    #pw+1234567890+1#
    #pw+1234567890+2#
    #pw+1234567890+3#
    #pw+1234567890+4#

This will use up one of your code entry attempts though. (I think you have 3 attempts per lock)

If it comes back with "Code error", that particular lock is closed, if it says "No restriction" it isn't.

Normally lock 1 and possibly 2 is locked

    (On a dct4 phone, replace 1234567890 with 123456789012345 I think)

no. the code is the same for dct3 and 4: 10 numbers.

there is another way to check the lock status without restarting if locked. type: *pw+12345+1#
if locked, it says "SIM was already restricted". if not, "Not allowed".
you can try other numbers up to 6 but here you can check only lock1. if you try something else, it always shows "Not allowed".
    i don't know what are #5 & 6 used for...

i don't know about the 1st method attempts.

Okay, but it is only to check lock one, with my method you can find out the status of all four locks. Either way, there is the answer.
