No! GSM is digital, no analog, so base station communicate with only one mobile device (even if there is multiple devices with cloned cards).
Another phone cannot hear conversation, ant probably wont be able to call anything during use of first phone (because system will reject that phone).
And perhapes your SIM (IMSI) will be locked by your provider.
I got two identical cards from my provider. He told me not to switch them on at the same time.
Sometimes i do it and it has some effects:
-I can register with both phones to the network
-I cannot make 2 calls at the same time (this is obvieosly)
- You cannot decide what phone will ring, when a incoming call comes.
-Sometime i am not reachable. The caller gets a message, that i am not available
I was roaming in another country and another provider....
And had both Phones on...Then they did not work for some time in that network...
And some days later (When i was home again) i got a Message form my provider, that i really may not switch on both cards at the same time.
So i think, they have some monitoring software. My own provider knows that i have a double card, so here there are only some strange errors. Other providers (while roaming) don't know this and may lock the IMSI for their network and note the original provider.
So i would not switch on two identical IMSIS, if i had cloned them myself.
