Bad cobba signature on 6210

Hope some one can help me
I got a nokia 6210 of a cousin he dropped it and it went dead.
i got it on and i flashed it. After flashing it said Sim card not accepted, tried splock reset but failed so tried partial unlocking and worked but unable to update faid. When i try to update faid it says BAD COBBA SIGNATURE!!!

what can i do to sort this phone out???????

which program you use to update the FAID??

or use a hot air station at 420 celsius for aprox 5-6 secconds
take care at mad2 i
for romeo
you need a mbus cable and nokia
and nokia tool use faid button

bad cobba (at 1 from ten phones ) can be solved by using a full flas (eep tested)

I am not asking because i don't know a program..but because if he is using eeprom tools ti updat the faid he may get such a FAKE message if the program couldn't update the faid
so I think he should use nokiatools by rolis 1.9 to update the faid and see

.....the problem apears sometimes with eprom tols
i belived you are asking a general question

........but i think the prolem is hardware(70%)

i solved couple of times(especialy on 6210 and few times at 33xx series)

belive me it happens to me only witha 6210 the same error message but Rolis manage to update the faid with no problems at all..si i think he should try rolis before looking for any hardware solutions

stepp one full flash+..aditionlal nokia tool
if it is not working try pc locals
than hatdware

i already tried to heat the cobba and then connect it to mbus cable and tried rolis 1.9 and also rolis 4.79 it then says faid updated but no signal at all and after about 1 minute later it would say SIM CARD NOT ACCEPTED. and aagin i try unlocking with partial flash but not working. unless the partial flash is not good.

does anybody know where to get good partial flash for nokia 6210????

no no no no no no no no partial flashing damages the cobba sig and thereby you cannot update faid i believe

So best bet is get a good working full flash with eeprom and flash away - bound to work after that i beleive

recomended to use full fls...
but (personal question) why partial flash damage cobba hardware
at few phones with bad cobba after doing any possible software solution(full flash almost all version) i changed cobba ....no result but phone worked fine in 2 situation:
1. hot air to mad2
2. almost all time when i changed ram flash and cobba hardware

interesting im not sure - all i know is that the PARTIAL flash is a kind of "hack" which simply bypasses the sim card check the phone does - the new methods of unlocking GENUINLY unlock the phone like it would have been at a service centre originally etc
