may i ask,is the hardware finger print coming from the windls?
or is it the hard disk label?

i think ive mistaken to send the hard diskvol label and was
surprise to see another finger print when clicking windls!

ive tried changing the volume label of my disk but the windls
keep on changing too!seem like the print ive request wont work
on me,
could u generate one for me?

Actually, WinDLS uses armadillo's "Enhanced Hardware Locking" - This takes data from HDD Vol-ID, CPU, BIOS, Winblows installation info, other present hardware it can get info from...
It's pretty effective!

I doubt it - it depends really :/
Once an armadillo certificate (a "template" which hold properties about the encryption such as will it lock to hardware, will it compress the files, etc) has been made, I dont think its possible to read it back (I dont know how!) so I can't find out if the locking locks to your windows installation or not..

Check the other thread from cracked armadillo and WINDLS reg settings/certificate so you can generate your own (Kindly provided by DMI)..
Failing that, just post on the forum again and I'll generate you a new one (I would say email me, but the amount of crap I get from users who decide I'm talking to everyone, not just you, is unbeliveable and often leads to mail being ignored until it calms down a little...)
