any solution for 3390

may solusyon ba kyo sa 3390 para magamit sa pilipinas. nag try ako mag upload ng 3315 flash file sa 3390 pero walang namang display.please share ur experience.

You can't use 3390 in the Philippines. xx90 have no network coverage in the Philippines because these phones have different frequency except 8890 which is dual band but working with 900/1900MHz. Unlike for example 8290, which is designed for USA, working with 1900MHz only

put the 3310 software on the 3390 and see if it works. It boots, who knows, maybe it will find signal.

what is the DSP ROM version on your 3390? you can check with Rolis 1.8.

did you just get no display, or did you also have no key responses and the lights of your phone just stayed on?

if you got the latter after flashing the 3315 firmware onto your 3390, its possible that you have a ROM5 3390. 331X firmware won't work on your phone.

if it was just no display, but the lights shut off after a while, and you get a response to your key presses, then maybe you haven't reset your IMEI and updated the FAID yet.
once again, this can be done with Rolis.

oh i see so 3390 is impossible to use in the Philippines.pls tell me what is the frequency we are using here in the phil. iI just bought that 2 pieces of 3390 for 1,000 pesos and just wondering if i can convert it to 3310 or 3390.but i had no luck thanks dekod.

dekod is right,Nokia fones ending with 90 wont work here except fot nokia 8890, we use 900MHz(Globe,Touch Mobile) and 1800MHz(Smart,TalknText) respectively,
other freqency bands of that phone will end no signal

The same blank screen after boot occurs when I experimented on converting a 3310 to 3350. It is due because of the memory size of the latter is much larger the the 3310 and the 3310 cant compress a 4mb to a 2mb ram. (.",)
