Unlocked 6340i will not accept AT&T's new GAIT Sim

Hello all, I Just got my 6340i back from being unlocked and it now works great with the normal blue AT&T sim card but It displays "phone restricted" when I put AT&T's new white Gait sim into the phone. This pretty much kills all hope of useing the GAIT part of this cool phone! Is there also a TDMA lock on this phone? I have found that the 6340i is running DCT-3 software thus I had to sent it out to be unlocked, but how do I unlock the TDMA? I have a feeling that its not a normal remote code. Has anyone else had this problem?

I just tried the white gait sim in a unlocked 8290 and it didnt even show the alpha tag, simply read "usa 38" with AT&T's own sim. SO this sim must be totally OTA, wonder if thats why the 6340i wont take it?

well other customers have gotten there 6340i's working on AT&T just fine, so mine is still at least halfway locked.... the drama goes on
