upgrading win 2000

I was thinking about up grading to windows 2000 (I Prefer xp but some of the software I use won't work with it)

This is list of programs I use.
Does anybody know if they will have problems running under windows 2000

Neelix 2
Eeprom Tools 3.1
Nokia Tool ASM (build 035)
Ericsson ATR 5.3 by zulea
Motorola T19x_Serv
Samsung A800 Free
Verious Siemens unlockers and flashers
And the sony unlockers

Thanks in advance, I just don't want to go through the hassle of upgrading just to find out that most of my software won't work properly

Okay, I haven't used any of the software listed above, but I did use Win 2k very happily for a long time...APART from the Phone proggies.

At a guess, most if not all won't work, sorry . Of course I may be wrong and they all work, but generally I found Win 2k didn't work with pretty much all phone software

I'd get a 486 computer or so (Very very cheap if not free), install Win 98 on it and use it as a dedicated phone computer, that's what I'm doing at the moment...

Had the same idea a while ago,

but the neelix 2 box, (DCT4 Flasher) has a USB dongle, and the cheap computer I got didn't have any usb ports.

so I got a USB PCI card installed it but win 98 would not see it even with the software that can with it, so i gave up
