8310 PUK Code

Hi

I am trying to find out how to un-lock the Nokia 8310 when it is asking for the PUK code. I am fully aware that this can be obtained from my network.

However, at any local market or shopping mall there are people who will charge £10 to un-lock the phone. They simply key in a code and the phone works again !!!

Does anybody know what they type in ??

The PUK code refer to the sim card You need this if You have entered 3 time wrong PIN code...The PUK code comes with Your start up pacage so You must enter this to ullock the sim card...Put Your card in another phone and if it ask for PUK code Your sim is loked..

ring up the o2 line and they will give you the code, its all automated you just have to key in your phone number and its read to you simple !

The unlocking that is provided at your local market is to unlock the network! In your case, your phone is not locked, your sim card is! Do as said above, ring provider and answer a few questions! They'll give you the code! It may also be in the documentation you got with your phone! Don't try to guess the PUK code! This will block the phone all together!
