HELP ME unbar my nokia 7250

i have got a nokia 7250 that is bared on all uk networks
i understand that you have to cahnge the imei Number and could some one tell me how to do this and is it possible to remote unbar it ?

hand it in to your local police station.
if nobody claims it within a certain amount of time then you will be contacted and the phone will be legitimately yours.
