    Question about an 8310

Just a quick question in regards to this fone. I'm intending on buying one from overseas. Question is, are some of them made with different frequency ranges to suit different countries networks?

I'm buying the phone from the US, and i know they use a different system to our GSM system, although i did read that you can't use 8310's in the U.S.

as far as i am aware. nokia handsets released in the states have a different name due to the fact that they work on 1900 frequency.

so as long as the phone u are buying is called an 8310 u should be fine no matter where u buy it from. The states version will have a different name alltogether (8390 at a guess )

    regards

hello! if you are a jet setter and travelling a lot of times in the U.S., try to buy a tri-band phone (e.g. Nokia 8890, 6310i, Sony-Ericsson t68i, or the Siemens S40). Cheeers!!!
