Disable Call Forwarding Message on Nokia 6610

Is there a way either through the phone or some software to disable the "Note: Call forwarding active" message that appears everytime you dial a call. The problem is that you cannot use the speakerphone until the message disappears, to which you may already be connected to someone.

Service provider is T-Mobile USA.

Also - went to TMobile today, tried a different (brand new) SIM and also a new phone and the old 'gold Nokia', all of which displayed the silly message.

the best way to disable the message is turn call forwarding off..

but this message usually appears for a very short time, and it appears after you click the "call" button, but before the phone actually dials the number, so i don't think you can already be connected to someone when this message is displayed...

With T-Mobile, you cannot disable call forwarding even if you try.

I just tried disabling call forwarding and it works (T-Mobile US). I used disable all call forwarding. No more notes when calling. The problem is, no one can now leave me a message cause it just rings and rings. So I'm setting it back to the way it was

Hmm... I tried it as well. I also took my phone to TMobile dealership and they tried other phones and other sim card combinations with no success. It could be that I need to have an unlocked phone to accomplish this.

Ask to speak with a Tmobile technician and see if they suspect something wrong with your voicemail settings. Theoretically, anytime you change settings on the phone with regards to call forwarding, your voicemail settings should reflect that also as it's tied in to that. So for example, if I broke my phone and want to have my calls forwarded to a number, I can just dial my voicemail and activate forwarding to another number.

And BTW, my phone is locked so I don't think you need an unlocked phone to activate/deactivate call forwarding.
