    hi

its not possible that gprs tries to connect without its activation , is it a new phone wich is never been used or is it already been used by other persons ?
try looking in your manual guide for your 7250 and look under gprs connections

let me know if you still have problems

    greetzzz

    Lightbulb WAP homepage :)

    Hi there :)
Tjis "T-zones-button" is just a direct shortcut to the WAP service..... What some people don't know is that in almost all WAP or GPRS-enabled Nokia phones a longer press on the "0"-button fires up the WAP browser. If the currently "Active service settings" are a GPRS-set (which is pre-programmed by some providers such as T-Mobile) a long press on that button results in the phone trying to go online via GPRS and open the T-Mobile portal.
It is the same with those "I-Mode" buttons on NTT-DoCoMo phones in Japan or E-Plus in germany, or Hutch (Hutch home zone) here in Thailand (CDMA network tough).
These settings can be altered! There is no need to go thru your provider's startsite every time. Take an example here in Thailand, using AIS, starting WAP with a colour screen phone goes to the nicely coloured (!) portal of wap.mobilelife.co.th, but that bitch takes for ever to load. I just replaced that adress in the settings for both sets (AIS WAP and AIS GPRS) with my own poor b/w WAP site at tagtag.... and now, pressing "0" for two seconds brings up my own site, provided i got that AIS Simcard in the phone.
To alter this settings, go to Menu ->Services ->Settings ->Edit active service settings ->Homepage and change that with the WAP adress you desire, but leave all other entries untouched! Now pressing that "T-Zones" or "0" button opens your desired target, be it google, your own or whatever you want.
    Kind regards....
    Thanh

ta, like ive said i got it all sussed before - i just hadnt had time to sit down and mess around with the fone properly.

i did actually know about holding 0 for wap, its something i picked up messing around with other fones but wished that my old one (7110) would do cos it was jsut so much easier!

ive changed the button now so its the 'go to' menu, and stuck my most used bookmarks on there so im happy for now
