    Dead 6210

    hI all,can anyone help!I have a 6210.The screen froze up and the buttons would not work.Turned the phone off,now won't turn on.
    Phone will light up when charging.Also tried on Eeprom tool & it says can't read ppm version. (can it be saved.)

    Hi Guilherme,Nas,I have done a factory reset also run it on mcu & ppm on rolis 178 and the Eeprom tool but still not working.Only turns on when connected to either rolis or Eeprom tool.Also when it dose reset and turn on, it freezes and can't even turn the phone off.(have to disconnect the battery)When on Eeprom tool it says can't read ppm version.

    Hi!

    Did u drop it?
    Also check the dispaly closely under all possible angles. Can u read "CONTACT SERVICE"? The font might be really really light.
    If so u need to fix the EEPROM area (usually checksums).
    If u dropped it there might be some problem with the connections to the Flash-IC.

    Thanks for your reply doc,I lost my head with it.Have just taken apart for spares.

    dude , take the covers off , hold the pcb board in your hand and press the battery on the battery contacts manually (in your hands) and power it up ?? ,,check the power switch ..

    if all is ok , then hmmm... if flash didnt fix it , then could be flash ic or mad .

    just keep it plugged in a charge the battery... if it lights up when battery is in, then perhaps the battery was dead...
