    3330 Imei 00000000000000

Hi, I flashed a 3330 with SW 4.16. I now get IMEI 00000000000000, I treid to change it to original with NokTool 1.8 but get the error report '0000000000000 IMEI Write failed' Is there anything I can do to fix this or does someone have a copy of 4.16 I can use? I've read that some progs cant flash higher than 4.16 so thats why I want to use this, unless someone knows if there is a prog that can!

    Many thanks

    IMEI Number

You will still experience the same problem even if someone will give a 3330 v4.16 flash even with v4.16 Fubu. Your Problem can be solved by Flashing a 3330 virgin EEPROM to your phone. A virgin eeprom contains all the default settings of the phone and does NOT contain an Imei in it's registry.

    Follow These Steps:

    1. Download the 3330 virgin eeprom below. (Attached File)
    2. Unzip the file, place it in your flash file directory (where your flash files are located)
    3. Run the ROLIS Flasher program (Use v4.78x if possible)
    5. On the phone selection box select 3330 (nhm-6)
    4. To flash the virgin EEPROM open the virgin eeprom flash. Click the Flash menu and choose the WRITE option. Open the filename "3310 virgin eeprom.fls"
    5. A New Window will appear, under the option "EEPROM: WRITE ONLY PHONE BACKUP" click the 3330 button.
    6. Wait For The operation to finish
    7. Re-flash your phone using your 3330 flash file (make sure the flash file is a good one).
    8. Use your unlocker tool to change your phone's imei's

    POST Results, Goodluck!

Additional: You can use Noktools 1.9 by ROLIS (I will also attach it below), it's even better because it's NOT a beta version and it is used by many phone unlockers out there.

Thanks both of you, I see that some virgin eeproms start at 00550000 and some at 005F0000. Whats the difference? I also found one in a previous post that is 704KB unpacked and these two are 64KB unpacked, any ideas??

    Again thanks!

    Virgin EEPROM

The one you have seen is PPM pack of a 3330 flash file and the filesize that you have said (704 kb) is too large for a virgin EEPROM file, the filesize that you have downloaded (64 kb) is the appropriate size because a virgin EEPROM is a just chunk file which contains only the default settings of the phone without an IMEI number in it's registry.

NOTE: Virgin EEPROM is NOT a flashfile, after you have placed a virgin EEPROM you need to place a clean flash.

Anyway, have you already restored your IMEIs?

I flashed the eeprom you gave, and then flashed with a 3.12 that I managed to get from my friends fone. It turns on etc but when I try to update the IMEI and FAID NokTool says the MsID starts with 00.... instead of 81,82 or 83. How can this be resolved?

    Higher Versions

read the values carefully, post it here, usually most phones have that initial value of 00 (MSID) also, use a higher version of an unmodified flash file.
