what are the chances of doing such a feat?

all i wanna do it for is to add pics to contacts!

but loosing memoy to me sounds a bit dumb!?

is this the case??

Hi there :)

The 7250 and the 7250i share the same hardware, it is basically the same phone. The reason for the "i" having lower memory is that it's got a lot more features (software!) and that requires a bigger flash file. So the memory area for the user has got smaller........

Yet it is not possible to simply upgrading the 7250 by flashing a 7250i flashfile, most likely due to different adresses etc, i am also not too sure. Flashing it will result in "contact service". It then also can NOT be flashed back to 7250! So better don't risk it.
I heared rumours that in some country (UK?) Nokia is doing the upgrade for users, yet i did not see a confirmation yet.

nah ive alrerady asked nokia UK and there isnt as yet any way of doing it, but they are thinking about releasing the s/w to do it though thro your local Nokia service centre!

dont count on it, guys. nokia wont b so crazy to upgrade 7250 to the i model. if it could it wont come out with the i model to suck money out from us man.

exactly, unless if there is a way then it woll cost around the same as a 7250i i guess or a little less so u may as well go out and buy a 7250i!!!
