    Question Help with LG-TM510 CDMA Unlocking

    I searched a bit, but the only thread that readily stated help with unlocking was closed.

    I bought this phone for my other half, and I just want to know how to unlock it. I don't even know how to get the IMEI off of it. With my personal phone its in the menus, but on this phone I can't find it.

    If no one here can actually help with unlocking it for me, does can anyone suggest a site that might work? I noticed the bulk are based out of the UK for remote unlocking, is there a reason for this? I'm in Canada and I'd rather get something done locally, but my service provider charges an arm and a leg.

    *EDIT*. After some further searches, I found a bunch of threads saying CDMA phones don't really need to be "unlocked", and some saying that CDMA phones on the Verizon network are unlocked from them. Any thoughts, anyone?
