nokia 3330 sim reg failed

hi,
have a 3330 which comes up with sim registration failed, i know this usually means phone is barred, but this happened a few days ago then everything worked fine for a few days then sim reg failed came up again, have re-flashed phone and up-dated faid etc, but still same problem, can anybody steer me in right direction, thanks

sim registeration failed means the phone is barred or the sim is damaged or not activated.

try using this simcard in another phone, if it happens again (the problem is in the sim card) - contact your provider and ask them to replace your sim. usually they replace it for free.

if it doesn't happen again (problem is in the phone) - it is probably barred, but i would try another simcard in it, to be sure.
