Flash cable Problem

I am using the newest version of Rolis (I think 4.79) with PS/2 style flash cables on windows 98. I have tried to do a backup of the firmware on two different laptops and I get the same error everytime. It goes to load the preloader (where is says "power on phone, shortly") and it just sits there. If I wait a minute or so and plug the power in it gives me an error and says the pre-loader was not accepted. I have tried this with both a 3390 and an 8890 and have the same problem with both. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

PS/2 isn't that a serial cable???

The flash cable you need to use plugs into the LTP (parralel) port on your computer!

Does the cable have a LPT connector (25 pins) and the phoneconnectors have PS/2 ?
