7650 Battery life

my 7650 is less than 6 months old yet my battery doesnt last 12 hrs is there any way i can fix this?

Depends what your doing with the phone, when i bought my phone and used gprs after a full charge and doing the full charge cycle a couple of times, I managed to flatten my battery within the hour but if the phone is idling with no calls made or recieved then it will last for up to 48 hours or a bit more, and it still does and I've had it over a year now.

that would explain it then, i only noticed the drop in battery performance since i hooked up my mailbox via gprs and started using agile messenger

I've found that i have to carry an extra battery in my wallet so if my battery goes flat i can use the extra battery... The Nokia 7650's battery really sucks.. it's exactly the same as the one in the Nokia 8250...lol

hehe i've never have to carry an extra batt, actually i know of noone because they usually charge the phone everynight depending on the strength. I reckon the battery for the 7650 is fine.

worked it out! i had screen saver running playing a small animated gif looping, just after removing this and still with a moderate amount of gprs usage and normall actuall phone usage my battery life has risen from 12hrs to 2days and still going
