Can't find eeprom in 7190

I am starting to develop a nervous tic over this.

I have a perfectly good Nokia 7190. Use it every day and it works fine.

Using newKnok25b I have pulled the whole flash and everthing from 0x3d0000, seperately, back a half dozen times and no eeprom info.

When I search for the IMEI=nothing

When I view the flash file with Nfree or nkcalc no eeprom.

Where is it keeping the imei info I get when I punch in #*06* ???

The Mcu and Ppm show up clean in Nfe but no eeprom.

Anybody got a clue, cause I sure don't.

hi warrenxxxxx,
I think your problem is that a 7190 has a seperate eeprom ( on a nother chip ) just like 5110, 6110, 6150, 3210. the only way to read your eeprom is to unsolder the eeprom chip flash it and re-solder it.
