Troubleshoot nokia dku-5 cable & win2k

I can´t get PC Suite to recognize my Nokia 5100 in win2k over a dku-5 cable.
I´ve tried DIE EXACT procedure found in the manual. My computer recogizes "Nokia connectivity somethign", and a COM port is also asigned to "Nokia 1 phone".

But if I change to "show hidden devices", and apply devmsg_show_nonpresent_devices registry hack, I get a new symbol with a big questionmark at the top of my device list named "unknown devices".

I talked to the nokia support, and they say that the cable is probobly installed the right way since a have two new devices in my list. But my question is,, should the third device that I find be installed somehow?

I know that the cable works (tried it on a winxp machine).

hello, could anyone PLEASE help me with this, i have installed my dku-5 driver and pc suite 5.1 and have my cable in.

pc suite DOES detect my phone but when i start an application by example --- copy content from phone to pc it then gives me the message no phone connected?

can anyone please help me
