Nokia 6510 water damage

Hi got a nokia 6510, has some water damage. Phone switches on,goes to main menu.Then only 1,2,3 work on the keypad and that's if you press them hard.Can anything be done to save it?

open and clean handset properly if still there is problem change the internal keypad
