Flashing my modded flash = contact service
Hi!
I have a Nokia 5110 and I enjoied the ProjecT 1.60 of BOEBOE: great work!
Now I would to reistall the 5.29 original version of the flash, with little modifications to the bitmaps and the fading led feature.
The subject doesn't mean that I had problems flashing the phone, but I can't make any modify at the flash because results in phone jamming or contact service...
For example, the most little bit of modify to the text, or font, makes a real working flash file turn to garbage for my phone!
I'm using PPMEdit to make changes to text, bitmap ecc... once saved the .FLS file and then flashed (with Rolis477) the phone (previously turned off) with my flasher cable, I connect the phone to the MBus cable, turn it on, but I can't update FAID 'cause phone says "Contact Service"...
Another example: I'm using Genolite 2.0 with the tutorial for implement the fading leds, after load the flash (PPM 5.29 pack A.fls) I kill the MCU CHK, anche the FlashCheck/FAID, select the Fading leds, and then save the file (note: I receive error messages that seems to be normal, as shown in the tutorial...).
Flashing the phone is OK, but the phone doesn't have fading leds...
I've a lot of programs for fls editing, but no one seems to resolve my problem...
Can you help me?
