Strange Wallpaper question

I notice a few sites with loads of wallpapers for the 3560/7650/6600 but what puzzles me is they make them 174 x 132. Now when you transfer this to your phone, you get a white border at each side, and a pretty thick white border top and bottom which looks horrible. I played about and found the perfect size is 176 x 144, they fit perfect and look great

Just wondering why all the sites use 174 x 132 ??

I think that's the size of the 7650 wallpaper.

174 x 132 is the standard size for 3600, 3650, 3660, 6600, 7650, N-Gage

However, some phones like 6600 can have 176 x 144 as a wallpaper, so it covers the screen fully.

N-Gage is a bit different I believe. But whatever you do, the N-Gage resizes the wallpaper automatically

how to make the pictures that i have downloaded to the phone to become wallpaper? i try and try to look for the word set as wallpaper, but i can't find it in 3660, please assist.
