Help,
It’s probably been asked a few times (sorry) however...

I have purchased a faulty Nokia 8250 which was initially on V0daphone and told looses network occasionally.... well, same phone, now unlocked to other networks (mine is PAYG 0range) I receive a signal which at times disappears completely. Any ideas?, I have tried the manual network selection and switching the phone off/on, which does cure the fault for a short time, neither appears to correct the fault completely...

I have also changed the aerial and used the same SIM in an 8210 which both checkout ok..

Would a full/partial flash on the phone rectify this, I don’t particularly want to get a flash cable if it is not needed..

Incidentally keying *#0000# gives me the following..
