6600 send through Infra Red to 6610

Hi

I tried to send a picture taken in 6600 and want to infra red transfer to 6610. Is it true that both infra red standard are diffrent and incompatible?

You can send pictures to a 6220 via infrared.

I think the only thing you can send from a 6610 to 6600 are phone numbers or messages...damn old phones.

well yeah i had this problem too... apparently 6600 can transfer via infrared only to series 60 phones. 6610 is a series 40. My bro has a 6610... so i couldnt send stuff to him either.... funny nokia!

Items can be transferred via Infrared between any Symbian phone (except N-Gage) to a 6220 or 3200
