Flashing with an MBUS/FBUS cable

I think this is just a rumour, but is it true that u can flash a fone using an MBUS/FBUS cable on a COM (RS232) port?

unless things have changed in the last 2 months.. it's a rumour. you cannot flash a phone with an fmbus cable

You cannot flash by Data Cable on nokias
You can on other types of phone but not nokias

there is one flasher I know of that flashes by USB and that the twister flasher although I havent heard of anyone actually trying this out
also the cost of a twister is around £400 so I wouldnt buy it

ok... thanks for clearing that up guys... ill just go tell this guy (the one who told me the rumour) that he is dead wrong..... btw im have already made a dejan flasher but have only one prob.... how do i get connecters for the fones..... is there a place where they can be bought?
