"modem failed to respond" v600 =/

Hi guys,


I have recently purchased a motorola v600 and I have wanted to load some mp3 ringtones to it via motorola's "mobile phone tools" software. However whenever I try to load a file to my phone it gives a dialog box after about 20 seconds sayng "MODEM FAILED TO RESPOND"

Anyone have any ideas as to what is wrong? I have had nokias before and had no bother loading any apps, games or tones.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, or if anyone could suggest another program that can load apps and mp3 tones to my phone, that would be great.

....so can any of you guys point me towards a good motorola forum where someone maybe could help me?

when I have posted about my nokia before you guys have been great, so someone here should know where I can get the info i need?
