8910i help needed!

I need help to change my IMEI number on my phone. I know its illegal so I dont need preaching at. I bought it refurbished from china but it will not connect to any network in the UK. The company I bought it off isnt answering emails so cant send it back to them! So basically now Im stuck with an expensive titanium calculator which I need to sort out! Can anyone help with info on where I can either get this service or where I can buy this chip and install it myself (gulp!)and then rewrite the IMEI. Any help would be most appreciated! If anyone fancies doing it for me I will happily pay them! Just contact me privately or via email. Many thanks guys n gals!

Well its not that easy..U need some equipment for bout 800EUR atleast..new UEM chip and some skills...just a tip..try to unlock phone first..U can do it with codes..just read some more around..

As far as I know it is unlocked to all networks already . I bought 5 x 8910i's all refurbished to sell. This is the only 1 that wont connect to any network. When I checked the IMEI number with my network provider they told me that the phone is registered as stolen or at least the original phone from which the IMEI came from is registered as stolen. The company in China I bought it from fit new chips and write new IMEI numbers to every phone they refurbish. Unfortunately they must have unknowingly picked a stolen IMEI to fit to this phone! Great eh! So now Im stuck! Any more ideas or will unlocking as you suggested solve this do you think? Sorry for my ignorance! New to this side of things! Cheers.

How I am going to swap it? It doesnt work at the end of the day so anyone willing to swap with me will want to try phone first and see that for themselves. As I said I would send it back to china to swap it their end but they arent answering any emails and Im not sending a phone that expensive all that way that on the off chance they will swap it and send it back to me! Someone on here must be able to help me out. You all seem knowledgable guys reading through all your other posts! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!!
