3410 network problem help

hi all, i have a 3410 it worked fine, then the network and signal went, if i link to logomanager there are no networks detected either and the phone screen remains blank apart from power bars . the signal came back for a while after i played with noktol (might have been coincidence though) and i have had tiny numbers changing instead of a operator logo on the screen (what is that about?) although they have gone now? so is it terminal? i cant flash but i have m&f cable. any help is much appriciated.

Read with Nokia Tool and make sure the IMEI right and also update FAID.

read with noktool ram has mem read fault at 100000 eprom at a00000 updated faid didnt do anything
i have access to another 3410 thats ok if that helps
