How to save the pokenmon game on goboy?

I am a newbie to goboy in my n-gage..

i tried to save my pokemon game halfway but when i wanna continue later on,i cant find it..any advice for the gurus out there...pls help...

wat version of goboy are u using?

try pressing the pencil key (or *, i forgot which), then u shld get into the menu to save, change sounds, change controls etc.
