Sony Ericsson Z7

I have a sony ericsson z7 which is locked to orange, I have unlock cable but cannot get it to unlock, i get codes but not the right ones also i cannot get the IMEI number it comes up in the box unobtainable, can anybody help please.

You can get the Imei number from the back of the phone. As far as i remember, when i used to unlock those Z7´s, you had to put in the code twice to unlock it. After each attempt you had to take out the battery. Sorry, but i cant remember the program i used, one of them was for the J6 series, i think it was to generate the code and the other read the code. If you still have probems then email me and i can tell you the exact way to unlock after the weekend.

I know where to find EMEI number but when I plug in phone to find codes a box comes up which has 4 little boxes, to read phone one of them is for the EMEI number that does not come up dont even know if i need it.but thanks for any help.
