Unhappy Connect to Internet using n-gage through PC?

hi guys, i just want to ask is it possible to connect to the internet from my notebook using the n-gage through the GPRS?because i try to ask to my SIM card operator, he said cannot because n-gage doesn't have infra red, only bluetooth. How if i buy the Bluetooth USB adapter so my notebook can connect to the n-gage? or maybe it's possible using the USB cable that included when i buy the n-gage? using dial up connection is so bothering, i can't connect everytime i want so i hope my n-gage can replace it thanks a lot b4 guys for helping me, it worth a lot to me

If I read what you said correctly...

You want to connect your PC to your N-Gage via Bluetooth. That means you want to use the N-Gage as a modem source for your PC? If its the other way Tzeonn has directed you in the right direction, (thats for using the pc as a GPRS source for the mobile, there is a FAQ already posted).

But If you want to use the N-Gage as a modem for your pc its really simple.

1st: Install the complete Bluetooth software (not the automatic installation you actually need all the software that came with the adapter).

2nd: Establish an authorized connection between the 2 devices.

3rd: Setup a dialup connection on the PC using bluetooth modem (whatever you named your bluetooth adapter on your PC) The number you will most likely dial *99# and there will be NO user name or password. Attempting to use them will cause confusion. Dont try to modify any of the preset values on the Dialup connection just fill in the blanks with the info you know.

Finally: Attempt a dialup connection it will dial *99# and if you havent adjusted your settings it might not work. If it fails simple goto the settings on the phone goto connections and make a new one. Use Default Leave all fields blank and connection security "normal". Go back to settings, GPRS and delete the AP (Access Point) this field should be blank doing this will NOT affect your normal GPRS activity or wap what ever you use. After doing this try again to dial up. I havent tried this on Windows XP but on Windows ME it worked fine so its safe to assume that XP would probably work easier.
