hey iam new to all of this so could somone explain the basics to me?

i have just bought a 3315 and its locked on telstra sim cards what do i have to do to unlock it , i have an mbus cable and i tried to use the nokia tools program to get all those numbers imei number e.t.c but it kept saying phone not connected. Does there have to be a sim card in it for that program to work?

try rolis software....

if it does not connect them try logomanager to check the cable is not faulty

have you tried unlocking it by using Mobtool?
