So Far So Good (Question about 3395)

It appears that my Cingular Nokia 3395 (same as 3330 right?) is unlocked after entering the first code - do I need the second code if it already told me it's unlocked? I'll be giving this phone to my dad to use outside the U.S., I just hope it'll work for him.
