I have a 5510, and it has the problem with the UI board which causes it to shut down after a few seconds of booting. ive read the forums here about ways to fix it, and ive modified the cable and gotten the appropriate software, but all i get is "WAIT_ACK_TIMEOUT" and im stuck from there. trying to flash the phone using ext_ui_dsp, but getting error01, it not being able to connect to the phone.

out of desperation i took it to a phone shop yesterday and he tried to flash it fully, and i gave him the ext_ui_dsp software and he still got the "WAIT_ACK_TIMEOUT" message aswell. i was using windows XP he was using 2k. would it have anything to do with the OS?
