    Angry SIM Card Memory Protected

    Hello peeps! Please help me with my problem; that is, i could not access my SIM Card. I'm using a 7110. The problem is when you're accessing the SIM Card as Memory in Use, it will warn u the 'SIM Card Memory Protected."

    What should I do? Please help me peeps!

    Maybe you have activate catalog 2 with.Pin 2,or your card is out.

    what do you mean about catalog 2? my SIM card is inserted. i also tested it to another cellphone, and still the SIM is protected...

    i also tested a different SIM to my phone, and it works...

    the problen really is my SIM...

    check in the security menu memory security is on or not. you will need to enter your security number in to access this menu and just make sure its not activated.

    else phone your network and complain of a faulty sim and they should send you a replacement.

    also try under settings->security settings->fixed dialling.

    this is a SIM specific protection which allows you to dial/text/view/use only the specified dialling numbers of your SIM. my SIM has a max of 20 entries for this. its usually protected with PIN 2.

    sorry if u think this reply is too late but there is nothing wrong with your sim.the fixed dialing feature is activated that's why it is restricting you from viewing everything in it.u'll be asked for ur pin2.trust me.that's what it is.
