nokia 6230 keypad dead - help

hi,

had some liquid spilled on my phone. Now the *, 0, #, right arrow and right menu selection (above hang-up button) is not working. Everythingelse is working.

I've dried it and brushed the main board, replaced the keypad PCB but no success.

Then i tried Chunkhead's Guide to water damaged phones technique. Still no success.

Plus now i have an OS problems, when the phone's display switches to clock, it hangs and i have to pull out the battery to reboot. If i leave it longer in the clock window, the display fades. But i can turn it back on using the power button. These clock-display-hang symptom however does not show up when a charger is plugged in.

Any help is much appreciated.

the best thing you can do is dowload a service manual of the fone and check step by step... can be the filters of keypad that are not ok and maybe you need to change it. or can be other thing... if you need the service manual please let me know.
