8310e 2nd unlock code

Hi i've got an 8310e on the orange uk network, i have followed the instructions to the book on how to unlock my phone using the nokia free unlock codes calc and even got the message that the phone had been unlocked, it then switched itself off and back on (reset i guess). However when i've stuck another sim card in (vodaphone malta) and switch it on it asks for another restriction code - what is it and how do i get it?

P.S. What's the GEN field on the online calc?

you need to use the GID1 code for a dual band orange phone to get a second code ending in +2#

this will remove the second lock
