t610 and a bucket of water

I dropped my t610 in a bucket of water while washing the car, i took it apart and dried it out with a hairdryer and it was working ok apart from water in the screen so i let it dry over night put it all back together now when i switch it on all i get is a blue screen (no water in it now). the phone is still working coz i can dial out on it i just cant see anything apart from a blue screen. ive tried reflashing avr and arm but still the same. any ideas plz? new screeen or is the phone knacked? thaks

before you get a new screen could i suggest you look into wether static damage could be the culprit (only a suggestion though as i have only heard rumours bout it)
