    MMC malfunction

    Hi list,

Well yesterday when I was talking to my girlfriend she asked why I didn't reply to her sms msgs. I told her that I didn't get anything from her and she told me she had sent, anyway I turned off my phone (Nokia 6670) and turn it on and then I have realised that my theme just changed into the default one and I cannot run my applications that were installed on the mmc anymore. I also lost my sms messages archives that I was keeping on my MMC.

I don't have an tiny idea what was going on down there, but when I explore my gallery in mmc I can see some my photos and some of them are broken...

I tried to install fexplorer but it is no go, the symbian halts on installing screen. All I want to do is find out if my messages were deleted or are they still there but unseen.

So I need a way to copy all the content on my MMC to my hdd. Is there any possible way to do this ?

    thanks in advance.
    oz.

i think you mmc is corrupt. you may try to read it in a mmc reader. if you can't read, you may try to format it but you will loose all your information.. but hopefully the mmc will work again on the phone.

I read that Kingmax mmc aren't really any good. Certain s60 cellphones can't tell if they r there or not in the cellphone(s).

I've got a problem with my MMC too...
Apparently it corrupted the other day and I reformat it with my phone...
The reformat was a success but the problem lies in the fact that my computer cannot detect the MMC at all except for my phone that is. Therefore I can't transfer file from my computer to my MMC.
    Can someone help me?
