    Angry (6210) Security Code Kefuffle

    Hey people,

okay, so a while ago, I put a security code on my 6210, and made it only active on when I change the sim card...

I've cancelled my old plan, and obtained a new sim card, and now it's asking me for a security code.

... and as you could probably expect, I've forgotten it

I tried and tried to guess at it, then I got a cable and logo manager, it told me the security code, however, now when I enter the correct security code, it tells me it's incorrect.... I figure that's got something to do with the incorrect attempts counter or something.

Knock 22 doesn't work with the cable for some reason... Dark Flasher doesn't work on win 2000, Nokia Tool by Rolis (1.7b) doesn't want to connect at all either.... all dos software like Nokia Flasher have no hope on running on win 2000 either...

    so I'm pretty much stuck.
any advice would be much appreciated.

    NookTool

I can't find nooktool for download anywhere.

since the first post I've tried waiting a long time with the phone on before entering security code, as suggested in another thread...

and I've also tried Nokia Tool 1.8, which connected with the phone, and I can see security code, delete sim locks, etc, etc. but when I try to do a flash read, it gives me a reading error at a memory address...

    Flasher that works

the problem is that to do that, I need a flasher that actually works - I've got the serial cable that I bought from my local electronics store (no FBUS MBUS switch)... and not many flasher programs seem to work on it.

I also need something that works with win 2000.

Well NO flash program can flash with a cable that connects to the serial port but they connect to the printer port.

I use Knok Phoenix with userport runnning

    it works fine
